my first art market

Two weeks ago, I had the absolute pleasure to share my art at Show Yourself Market in Alkmaar, The Netherlands. It was my first market ever, so a lot of planning and preparation went into it! I made stickers, got print of my paintings printed, and even brought some of my handcrafted Stardew Valley themed fridge magnets (which were received really well!).

It was a super cool first experience, I got to talk to many people who liked my work and I traded stickers and business cards with fellow artists <3.

I am super grateful for my friends (Milla & Eline!). To Milla (@limitpetal on Instagram), I am grateful for all her advice and sharing her knowledge on how to move from painting and drawing at home to creating cool prints and stickers and sharing those with others. Eline was there as my helper and made sure we all drank enough water and didn't forget to eat.

I am currently getting ready for another year of Inktober and processing all the inspiration I found at the market into new stickers and art pieces. While I have currently no new market planned, I always have my online market over on Etsy in the mean time :)
